We're currently seeking a talented Technical Writer for our client in Saratoga Springs, NY. This is an open-ended contract position with the potential to be converted into a permanent employee in the future.

Our client is seeking a Technical Writer to assist with documentation for our client's proprietary software. This person will be responsible for writing release notes for updates and changes, writing product requirements for developers and writing content for their online help system.

The Technical Writer must be able to translate information into readable, well-written content for end users.

Requirements:

• · Previous experience in a Technical Writer role, preferably with experience with a proprietary software
• · Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work within tight deadlines

Software Quality Assurance Analyst

We have been retained by our client in their search for a SQA Analyst. This is a temporary opportunity that has the strong possibility of being extended into a long term opportunity. This position will be based out of Clifton Park, NY. Salary will be in the $15-18/hr range with some flexibility depending on experience.

Essential Job Functions:

• Will be working in a team environment conducting manual testing of CDs and websites
• Will work closely with the QA testers in writing and/or executing test plans
• Will assist in creating clear, detailed and precise defect reports
• Will concurrently work on multiple project - should be comfortable working both in an independent as well as a team environment
• Will write and execute detailed test cases based on the client's requirements, functional specifications as well as customer usage scenarios

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of QA processes and the SDLC
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to troubleshoot software defects and identify root cause
• JIRA knowledge extremely desirable
• 1-3 years of experience
