Kristin Cameron

Kristin, born in Ohio and raised in Connecticut, graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. After graduation, she worked at Prudential Home Mortgage in Maryland where she quickly went from an entry level Human Resource Assistant to a Recruiter to a Human Resource Generalist, all within four years. Kristin then moved onto Chevy Chase Bank in Maryland to sharpen her skills in Human Resources and Employee Relations as the HR Manager. Relocating back to Connecticut, Kristin decided to switch gears and combine her recruitment and employee relations experience with sales and became the Branch Manager of a national temporary service for four years before starting Lauren Staffing in April 2000 with her partner, Joe Burke. Kristin is a member of SHRM and the American Staffing Association, as well as the Glastonbury Chamber of Commerce. Overall, Kristin has 15 years of experience in Human Resources and the Staffing Industry. Kristin enjoys running and hiking, as well as growing the business with her exceptional staff.

Jennifer Barrett

Jennifer, a New York native, has been in the staffing industry for more than 10 years and has experience in sales, recruiting and management. As Director of Recruitment, Jennifer is responsible for planning and strategy development in addition to her primary role, recruiting. In her recruiting, she uses a consultative approach and strives to make the perfect matches for her candidates and clients by understanding their individual needs and aligning them to benefit both. Jennifer has experience in both temporary staffing and direct hire search, has undergone industry specific training including obtaining the designation, Certified Staffing Professional and has been recognized as a “Top Producer”, “Employee of the Month” and “Employee of the Year”. Prior to joining Lauren Staffing, Jennifer lived and worked in California in the creative staffing industry servicing companies like The Gap and Wells Fargo Bank. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish from Dickinson College and a Master's Degree in Management from the University of Alabama. Jennifer enjoys spending time with her black labs and running during her free time.

Jennifer Bruening

Jennifer, a native of Connecticut, joined Lauren Staffing Services in 2004. As Recruitment Specialist, she assists both clients and associates in the process of building strong working relationships. Jenny especially enjoys the aspect of enabling associates to attain their employment goals. Jenny holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the New England Conservatory of Music and a Master of Music degree from The Hartt School. She is currently a free-lance musician as well as a member of several Hartford area symphony orchestras.

Steve Ginsberg

Steve is the newest member of the Lauren Staffing team. He was born in Hartford and raised in West Hartford.  After graduating from Curry College with a Bachelor's degree in Communications, he spent 18 years at Aon Corporation. During his time at Aon, Steve went from Sales Representative to District Manager responsible for hiring and training managers. More recently, Steve held one of his most rewarding positions with The Missing Persons Foundation where he was in charge of procuring donations to fund a National Child Safety Kit Program.  Steve brings years of sales experience, a true confidence and remarkable phone presence to Lauren Staffing as Staffing Specialist with an emphasis on selling into medium to large-sized companies. He has two sons, 12 and 16 years old, and when he is not working, he is doing his best to keep up with all their activities including travel hockey, basketball and baseball.

Polamalu the Pug

Pola, born in St. Louis, Missouri and raised in Connecticut, has been the official mascot of Lauren Staffing since February 2006. She is named after Troy Polamalu, a strong safety for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Pola takes great pride in greeting candidates and clients every day, as well as checking all trash cans for food. In her spare time, she thoroughly enjoys eating, sleeping and taking long walks.
